Fire Twirling
One
of my other interests is also performing fire twirling. The instruments
used here are based on a traditional artform and objects called
"Poi'.
The Poi art form originated from Tonga and essentially Pois are
balls of fire that are attached to chains. In
early 2003 I also performed the Poi whilst busking the streets of
Byron Bay.

my name name is Krista and I'm a solo performance musician and guitarist
based in Ceduna, on the West Coast of South Australia.
If your Hotel, Club or Social Function requires the service of a
solo musician feel free to contact me for a chat so that we can
arrange a gig for you.
The music
that I particularly like to play can range from Kasey Chambers to
the Beatles and recent songs and hits from the latest music charts.
Currently I am working on including a number of Country and Western
songs in my repertoire - along with producing quite a bit of my
own original material.

Performances
And
Achievements
My past performances have included major engagements for the Ceduna
Community Hotel during the Oysterfest and the Ceduna Eclipse of
2002.
During
the past 2 years I have performed regularly at a number of Port
Lincoln Hotels, the Port Kenny Hotel and the Smoky Bay Football
Club.
Currently
I regularly play
at Thevenard Hotel.
During
the early part of 2003 I also obtained some interstate work in
the pub and club scene around Byron Bay - on the north coast of
New South Wales.
A feature
of my time at Byron Bay was street busking - between catching
a few Pacific Surf breaks. What a life!
